visit the studio
Interested in finding out what goes into making the pieces you see on this site? Come out to the studio and I’ll show you around. I not only take pride in my finished work, but I also thoroughly enjoy showing people how I get there. It’s one of the reasons I teach ceramics to high school students. My passion for pottery is as much about sharing the process with others as it is in enjoying the finished work.
When you come out, I’ll walk you through each step I take – from forming a mound of clay to the finished glaze. You’ll truly receive a better appreciation of a potter’s craft. And you’ll have access to my entire inventory of current stock or be able request one of my designs. So, if you have an interest in pottery at all, please consider scheduling a visit.

Meet Mike
My name is Mike and I am passionate about pottery. From the clay in my fingernails to the heat of the kiln – I love every step of the process. But as rewarding as this is, it’s not nearly as rewarding as sharing my creations with other people. The idea that I could bring joy to someone’s life through something as simple as a mug that they pull from their cabinet in the morning – this is what truly fuels my passion. Being a potter has brought me many years of personal enjoyment, but it only has meaning when I share it with others.
